Alison Wilding viewing room for London Original Print Week

Book to view Alison Wilding Prints for London Original Print Week

While the London Original Print Fair is unable to open its doors at the Royal Academy of Arts this year, participating galleries across London are exhibiting prints for London Original Print Week, beginning 1 May. Guests are invited to our viewing room at 46 Lexington Street to see a monograph display of Alison Wilding's prints, coinciding with her Room 2 solo exhibition Mesmer, Again.

We are proud to launch Alison Wilding's latest print on the occasion: Geisha. Wilding says of making this: 'I love the block printed graphics on these old, fragile, amateur dramatics posters. The text determined the pattern of my obliterating marks, paper collage and cut outs resulting in Geisha, a partner to The Garrison Players, and similarly hand finished.'

Geisha is printed in a small edition of 20 plus 4 artist's proofs, and each impression is uniquely spot varnished by Wilding. This and other prints from throughout her career will be on display at our in person viewing room. Guests are invited to both view prints and Mesmer, Again
