Co-curated by Cathie Pilkington and Alison Wilding, The Ancestors displays portrait busts from teh Royal Academy's collection. The free exhibition can be seen in the central gallery between the RA's Piccadilly and Burlington Garden entrances. The Ancestors celebrates the skill of an out-of-fashion medium and questions its conventions.
