Here We Go: A Changing Group Show

9 September - 13 December 2013
Overview

Acting as a belated celebration of the gallery’s first 25 years, Here We Go incorporates the breadth of artists that have been involved with the gallery during this time. Taking the form of a changing group show, the artists are divided thematically. The first part (‘Index’) explores the impulse to catalogue and record that many artists seem to be preoccupied with; the artists of the exhibition’s second part (‘Volume’) are primarily sculptors and the third part (‘Mark’) is mostly dedicated to painting.

From November 27 to December 13, the exhibition continues with a display of the gallery artists, alongside Roelof Louw's Rolled Lead Piece (1970) in the front gallery.
