Onya Mccausland is part of the group exhibition Expanding Landscapes: Painting After Land Art at Hestercombe Gallery, Somerset running 12 November 2022–26 February 2023.
Works by artists associated with the Land Art movement of the 1960s and 70s, such as Andy Goldsworthy, Robert Smithson and Richard Long, will be displayed alongside contemporary artists including Hannah Brown, Sam Douglas, Jessica Warboys and Onya Mccausland; all of whom engage directly with landscape through the language of painting.
Coinciding with the exhibition opening, Hestercombe Gallery will host Residence (Residue, Resonance), a talk event with McCausland and other guests including Joy Sleeman, Dr Ella S Mills and Ruth Gooding on 11 November.
