Rose English launches her new artist’s bookVarious forms of Fire alongside an exhibition of new work in the Project Room / Graphic Workshop Næstved at Holmegaard Works on Friday 3 December 2021 from 4–7pm.
This limited edition artist’s book is a result of Rose English's 2021 long-term spring residency at the renowned printmaking workshop, Grafisk Værksted Næstved, and work in Holmegaard Værk's glass workshop. It focuses on, the British performance and installation artist’s ideas, research, processes and artworks executed during the residencies. In the text, Ida Bencke (Laboratory of Aesthetics & Ecology) reflects on the residency and English's development drawing parallels with previous works.
The book is designed by Kristina Ask, hand-bound by LuiLui Books and is published in a small edition of 22, each with a unique monotype. The book is published in collaboration with the Danish Radeer Association.
