Reopening: The Covering

Cathie Pilkington, Pierre Molinier and Morton Barlett

Karsten Schubert London announces the reopening of Room 2 with a final chance to see Cathie Pilkington's immersive installation The Covering. For two weeks, Room 2 will be open by appointment, exhibiting this site-specific work which includes a rare example of a Morton Bartlett (1909–92) plaster doll, on loan from The David Roberts Collection and uniquely dressed by Pilkington for the show, alongside the uncanny erotic photographs of Molinier (1909–76).

We are pleased to open The Covering in Room 2 in celebration of Cathie Pilkington's recent election as Keeper of the Royal Academy Schools.
