Ann-Marie James at the Macquarie University Art Gallery

Research Trip and Group Show

Ann-Marie James is embarking on a research trip to the Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, which concludes next year with a group show at the Macquarie University Art Gallery. The project is curated by Rhonda Davis, with other participating artists Julia Davis, Pollyxenia Joannou and Lisa Jones.

Initial meetings and studio visits with the other participants and experiencing the gallery space leads to a day or two looking through a collection of prints of the Roman Forum, donated to the University's collection. It is this recent acquisition that will form the basis for the show. The trip is funded by the Arts Council's Artists International Development Fund.
