Alison Wilding: Shelagh Wakely: A View from a Window

Group Exhibition at Camden Arts Centre, London

Spread across both the galleries and gardens of Camden Arts Centre, London is an exhibition of work by the British artist Shelagh Wakely (1932–2011). Her work is brought into conversation with other artists at the gallery garden, including a recreation of Alison Wilding's Treecrabbing.

Wilding's brass and aluminium sculpture was originally made for and exhibited in Sculpture in the Garden, an influential exhibition curated by Wakely at Camden Arts Centre in 1982.

Header (2014), a new edition by the artist is to be released to mark the occasion, with all proceeds donated to supporting the Camden Arts Centre exhibition programme.
